IT for 12th scale Sewing Machine
The painted sewing machine is an example of what the kit will look like when painted.
I was brought up with a sewing machine - my first one not too disimilar to this one. I was about 7 and living in Norfolk. I remember thinking what fun it was spinning the wheel as fast as I could only to end up crushing my finger in the spoke!
The sewing machine is very easy to assemble. It has a little spool winding addition which you glue to the front of the machine. I have to admit the machine is not exactly the same as the original. Any machinists will instantly recognise the flaws! If you want to add a spool of cotton thread to the top you would need to glue it on or you could drill and small hole in the metal and glue in a small pin.
The machine is cast with a little machine foot and needle - some of the images are missing them as I was a little heavy handed with my file.

This little monkey wears a top hat and coat and is ready for painting. If you have a steady hand he would look great painted in some lovely muted tones of old french blue, earthy pink, old red and soft mustard. Ideal for the playroom or something a little quirky to add to your display cabinet of curios!
